So, first question:
Is there even such thing as love?
I'm not a cynic, I'm just curious. I've never experienced it. Never experienced the boyfriend-girlfriend relationship kind of love; I've experienced plenty of friendly love.
I'm envious of people who experienced it and those who are experiencing at this moment.
Heck, not the physical type of love. I meant the spiritual one.
Is it love or is it desire or our hormones/bodies?
Like the poem 'The Lady of Shalott' and 'The Highwayman' that has a theme of how fate brought love and death. What has fate prepared for me? Will I ever meet the 'guy of my dreams' or will I die an old lady surrounded by her 70 cats?
It's really hard to imagine that the person you are going to marry is walking on Earth right this moment. Gosh, you might even see him/her everyday or on the streets and you don't even know it. Yet.
That leads me to another question:
Do you believe in love at first sight?
I know some people who don't. They don't believe that there will be rare occasions when the moment a person walks through the door, your eyes meet and there are sparks, butterflies, fireworks.
But who am I to say? I'm only fifteen.
Teenagers, the most awkwardest people ever. We're in the verge of adulthood and childhood which makes this a pretty stage to go through.
People who experienced it tell us that it was the worst thing that ever happened to them. But look, it's not love that's the worst thing that ever happened, I'm sure love is great. Heartbreak is the worst thing. Some people never recover from it and that's what scares me.
Most teens who go through heartbreak spend most of their youth trying to recover from it; some stronger teens just get up, dust their hands and get back on their feet.
I guess I'm lucky I don't have to bother with this; my education and health is my primary priority. As the saying goes: 'When I am rich, you will be my bitch.'
Starry night tonight.
